Hi everyone, my name is Bryan, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart for my sweet dog, Bruno.

Bruno is more than a pet — he’s my best friend, my shadow, my family. He’s a gentle, loving rescue from Puerto Rico who’s already survived so much in his life. After being abandoned on the streets as a pup, he found his way to me, and from that moment on, we’ve been inseparable.

Two weeks ago, Bruno suffered a terrible accident. He dislocated his front paw and tore the ACL in his back leg. The vet told us he needs urgent surgery so his tendons can heal properly and give him the chance to walk again. Right now, every step he takes is painful. Even simple things like standing up to eat or go outside to pee have become nearly impossible for him.

The estimate for his surgery, post-op care, and physical therapy could reach $10,000 — a number that’s completely out of reach for me alone. As much as it breaks my heart to ask, I’m turning to this community for help. Bruno deserves a chance to run, play, and live without pain. He’s fought so hard to have a good life, and I want to give him the care he needs to keep fighting.
