The Loss Of A Loving Father
To know Chris, was to love Chris. Chris was a quiet, patient man who loved God, his wife, Carletta, children, and grandchildren. In addition to his family, Chris loved music. Through the years, he was a member of various music groups and played the keyboard as a independent artist at multiple venues. In January 2023, Chris was found unconscious at work. After being rushed to the hospital, doctors determined that he had suffered several strokes. After some time, Chris was able to begin rehabilitation to improve the effects of the stroke. Tragically, after just a few weeks of rehab, Chris was again rushed to the hospital due to a serious stage of heart failure. On Saturday, April 8, after several weeks of being hospitalized, Chris passed away. His family is heartbroken. Before his illness his wife became unemployed after being laid off. As a result of Chris’ prolonged hospital stay additional financial burdens for the family occurred. Eventually leading to his life insurance policy lapsing. These sad circumstances are not unusual in America. However, knowing this doesn't make it easier to bear the loss of a loving husband and father. Chris’ wife is setting up this GoFundMe account to raise money for funeral expenses and provide a small cushion to support the family until she can find gainful employment to support herself and their teenage children. Please consider donating to this grieving family. Thank you for any and all support.
