Hi, as some of you may know. Our mother Leticia has been in the hospital since 12/28/2015. On Monday she went to the emergency room because of a strong headache. She was told that she suffered a brain aneurysm. In Westchester medical center the doctors found out that she had three brain aneurysms. Two ruptured and one that is not ruptured.  Tuesday morning she had to undergo emergency brain surgery to drain the blood in her brain. Then on Wednesday she had to undergo another surgery to clip the aneurysms. Surgery was successful and stopped the bleeding. Doctors told us that there might be complications after that all we had to do now is wait and have faith. A few days after her brain pressure started increasing and had to undergo another emergency surgery where they had to remove part of her skull and was placed in her stomach. This surgery allowed her brain to safely swell as needed. Another successful surgery. And again another complication now doctors say she has pneumonia. She has been given antibiotics. Since Tuesday 12/29/15 she has been heavily sedated. She has been stable and is fighting the pneumonia and fever. The doctors are slowly decreasing the sedation. We are praying that she will wake up in a few days or weeks. All we have to do is wait and pray for our mother’s recovery. We are asking for your help for her medical expenses and her recovery and we are asking for you to keep our mother in your prayers.  She is a strong woman. She is a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and daughter. Most of you know how much love she has for our family and friends. We are all praying god gives her the strength to get through this. We want her home. We need all the support that we can receive in this difficult time. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Hola, como algunos de ustedes saben. Nuestra madre Leticia ha estado en el hospital desde el 12/28/2015. El lunes se fue a la sala de emergencia a causa de un fuerte dolor de cabeza. Se le dijo que ella sufrió un aneurisma cerebral. En el centro médico de Westchester los médicos descubrieron que tenía tres aneurismas cerebrales. Dos rotos y uno que no está roto. Martes por la mañana tuvo que someterse a una cirugía cerebral de urgencia para drenar la sangre en su cerebro. Luego el miércoles tuvo que someterse a otra cirugía para cortar los aneurismas. La cirugía fue un éxito y se detuvo la hemorragia. Los médicos nos dijeron que puede haber complicaciones después. lo único que tenemos que hacer ahora es esperar y tener fe. Pocos días después su presión cerebral comenzado a aumentar y tuvo que someterse a otra cirugía de emergencia donde tuvieron que extirpar parte de su cráneo y se colocó en el estómago. Esta cirugía permite que su cerebro se hinche con seguridad, según sea necesario. Otra cirugía exitosa. Y también otra complicación ahora los médicos dicen que tiene neumonía. Le administrado antibióticos. Desde Martes 12/29/15 ha sido fuertemente sedada. Ella se ha mantenido estable y está luchando contra la neumonía y fiebre. Los médicos están disminuyendo lentamente la sedación. Estamos orando para que ella se despierta dentro de unos días o semanas. Todo lo que tenemos que hacer es esperar y rezar por la recuperación de nuestra madre. Estamos pidiendo su ayuda para sus gastos médicos y su recuperación y estamos pidiendo a mantener nuestra madre en sus oraciones. Ella es una mujer fuerte. Ella es una amorosa madre, esposa, abuela, hermana, y hija. La mayoría de ustedes saben cuánto amor que le tiene a nuestra familia y amigos. Todos estamos orando para que Dios le da la fuerza para salir de esto. Queremos que regrese a casa. Necesitamos toda la ayuda que podamos recibir en este momento difícil.
