This June, I was diagnosed with triple positive HER2 breast cancer, a fast-growing and aggressive form of the disease. Since my diagnosis, I’ve been undergoing weekly treatments at the hospital, and this will continue for many months to come.

My journey with serious health challenges started long before cancer. I was born with a rare congenital defect called an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) — a condition that affects less than 1% of the population. I underwent a craniotomy with resection to remove it, and several years later, I suffered a traumatic brain injury that changed my life forever. In 2022, I became disabled and began receiving SSDI.

Now, with this new cancer battle, I’m facing mounting medical bills and the urgent need for a reliable vehicle. For right now, I’ve been borrowing a vehicle or asking for a ride to get to my weekly treatments — but this is becoming harder and harder to manage. Without transportation, I risk missing the care I need to survive.

I am hoping to raise $12,000 to cover:

• $7,000 for a safe, used car so I can get to all of my appointments

• $5,000 toward out-of-pocket medical costs and bills
