Hello,
As some of you may or may not be aware, our mum has been struggling with her speech for the last year or so which has seriously affected her confidence and the way that she has gone about her day-to-day life.
After many doctors and hospital visits, we finally got some answers.
Mum has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease which affects the way that she talks & eats currently but will most likely affect the way that she moves in the future. Motor Neurone Disease is an illness that gets progressively worse over time and eventually leads to a premature end of life. There is currently no cure for this illness.
Now that we know what is going on, we are looking forward to making the most of the time that mum is still able to move around and do the things that she has always wanted to do, so we have setup a just giving page for donations to help support this.
If you would like to support her journey for the future, anything you can help with, will really mean the world to her.
As you all know, our mum is a fighter, always has been and always will be and will fight this until the absolute end. She doesn’t want to be treated any differently to how you would have before finding out this news.
