Our beautiful, funny, loud, enthusiastic 15 year old Max passed away on the 19th August 2021 from anaphylaxis. So many people have reached out wanting to support us and to remember Max.

As a way of making sure that the Max we all know is remembered in a way that would mean most to him, we are working with Ivanhoe & Northcote Canoe Club (INCC), Max’s club, to establish a memorial in his name.

With the money raised, we will create something for the kayaking and local community in Max’s memory. It will take a little while to sort out the details of this project, but we know it will reflect his love of paddling and his love of people. Like everything he tried, Max approached his kayaking with great enthusiasm and in it he found fitness, friendship and so much fun. We know he would love the idea.
