Last Thursday, November 6th, Michael (NERO)’s life changed forever.

He was in a serious accident that caused multiple brain bleeds, a fractured skull, and broken orbital bones. Michael has been in the ICU at Allegheny General Hospital, bravely fighting a long and difficult battle.

My name is Maddie. I work at Hot Haute Hot, and I’m raising money to help support Michael and his family during this incredibly challenging time. To know Michael is to love him. Michael is kind. He’s one of the good ones. He’s generous, funny, loving. His laugh that fills every room. He’s always the first to check in on friends and family. If you know him through his art, as NERO, you know his talent. His creativity, passion, and drive are felt in so many corners of the world.

Why we’re raising funds:

Michael’s accident has left him unable to work and support his family—his fiancée Yamaly and their 4-year-old son Salvador—for the foreseeable future. Financial stress is the last thing they need right now. Your support will allow them to focus on healing instead of bills. Yamaly will be a full-time parent while Michael remains in the hospital. Taking shifts and finding childcare when she can.
