Sky Dive

When Silvermere Care Home introduced person-centred trips and outings we always knew that from time to time we would get a  request which  would take our breath away.
This was the case when one of our residents requested to do a skydive!

Our activities team did some investigation and found that even at 95 years of age,  there was no reason why this could not be made possible.

On the 14th February 2020, our resident Mr Keith Stephens and our Well-Being and Activities Coordinator Angelica Lundekesi will take to the skies and fall 15 thousand feet to the ground with a 1 minute free fall.

They see this as a great opportunity to also raise some funds for a worthy case and have decided on MacMillan Cancer Support as their chosen charity.

Please support and encourage them in any way you can.

Regards,

Silvermere.
