As of Feb 10th, 2025, our world got flipped upside down when we heard the news that Jazzy was in the ER in Montrose. What they thought was potentially the flu or something else... The doctors couldn’t diagnose her properly here, so they decided to Flight for Life her to Children’s Hospital in Colorado Springs. After numerous tests and meetings with the doctors, Jazzy’s body was producing too much protein and too many antibodies. It got built up in the cerebellum (the bottom part of her brain), which produced too many white blood cells, affecting her speech and her fine motor skills. She is unable to talk or walk. Currently, she can only sit up in a wheelchair for an hour at a time. They are going to put her in some physical therapy and speech therapy for at least a month. It’s going to be a long few months as she learns how to walk, talk, feed herself, everything all over again. Please help with anything you can during this rough, scary time for this family. Anything will help as they are displaced from their home while in Colorado Springs with jazzy. Ashley & Kyle are both unable to work as they are by her side.
