help crystal get to disneyland

Hi everyone, on the 24 th feb 2015 my daughter was referred from our local gp to the hospital to have bloods taken after complaining of her leg hurting since january 2015, in which we kept getting told she had a viral, but as a mum i knew it wasnt a viral as she had not been unwell apart from a bad leg, on the 24th crystal went really pale, so i took her back to the doctors an we were sent for bloods, we were told these would take 24 hours, the results came back the same day, we were called back, an sent into hospital where we stayed an they did all sort of tests on my baby crystal, from a wee sample, more bloods, ct scans, mri, mibg which involved nuclear medicine, shes also had a bone marrow test and a biopsey taken, these tests were done due to the hospital finding a lump in her neck which the doctors also said was her gland, on the 26 feb 2015 the hospital said she had cancer, but not which type so all the above testing was done to find out, we were told which type crystal had on the 4th march, crystal has neuroblastoma which is a rare type of childs cancer, it is very hard to diagnose without all the tests crystal had done, it is a very aggressive type of cancer, an so far it has already spread crystal has it in her neck, either side of her spine, her chest, and on her kidney, crystal has started chemo already an she is on the american version in higher doses than the uk version,crystal has also had two blood transfusions, and the hospital gave her a duck called chemo duck who has become her best friend,and he helped her get use to her wiggly line(hicman line) its hard for a mum to ever see her baby go threw this, and she is being so amazingly strong she is 6years old and everyday wakes asking to go to disney land or blackpool, crystal still needs a lot of treatment, to help her get better and its taking its toll on her but everyday she keeps smiling and amazing me, i love my baby girl more than anything an want her better :) thankyou for taking the time to read about crystal and in advance for any donations myself and my family really appreciate everything that is being done for crystal by the hospital, and how brave shes being so we think she deserves her special trips :) thankyou again xxx
