Donna's Medical Bill Fund

Hello friends. I am starting a GoFundMe page for our dear friend Donna Ringold. Donna has been taking care of our TV13 family members for many years being our server at Bud and Stanley’s Pub here in Grand Rapids. Some of you may not know that Donna and her significant other Mike have been facing health issues that Donna has been battling over the course of several years.

Of late, Donna has been in and out of the hospital undergoing multiple procedures for issues with her back and something called MALS which affects the celiac artery that supplies oxygenated blood to several vital structures in the upper abdomen. There is a blockage of the flow of blood to that area causing Donna major pain, discomfort, and limiting the amount of solid food she can eat.

With that being said, Donna’s energy level is also limited to the point she can no longer work at the restaurant, thus shutting off a source of income for her to pay her bills. Donna has medical insurance that is paying in part some of the expenses for tests and surgeries. However, with the lack of income, she is now slowly using up her savings to pay for the bills.

That is why I have started a GoFundMe page to help out our friend. Donations will allow Donna to continue to pay for these necessary medical procedures to help her get back on her feet and resume what she loves to do, serving others. Donna has spent her time joyfully serving us at the restaurant and I believe it’s time we helped serve her in her time of need.
