Good morning, good afternoon and good evening! My name is Alecia, and I am fundraising to be able to pay off a good portion of my car and pay to have the engine repaired so.i can get a used truck. I have had my current car for about 2 years, I got it use, and i have had nothing but problems since I got it. I received it in rough shape. It had dents and scratches all over it, but I was grateful to have a vehicle. It has been one thing after another with it from about three moths after I got it, from bad breaks, sway bars, which need to be replace AGAIN, (I don't drive my car hard), oil leaks, steering is going as well as the alternator. It is only a matter of time before it breaks down and becomes a driveway ornament with payments still owning.

I need a reliable vehicle to be able to get to and from work safely, go and visit my mom who is in a long term home an hour away from me. Take my boy (pictured above) to the Dog-tors for check ups and in emergencies, or long hiking adventures without worrying about breaking down.

You might be wondering "why a truck and not just a car?" Well, I would like to convert the bed of the truck into a sleeping area that is insulated, has solar panels to power heat winter and A/C in the summers, and to power a small tv so we can live in it. This has been a dream of mine for a long time. I am hoping to be able to do the work with the money saved from not having car payments over the course of a year, so we (my Boy and I) can have our OWN space, which is very much needed for both of our mental health. We would also be able to travel on weekends without the added cost of a hotel. If you're wondering where I will shower or how i will cook, I plan on getting a gym membership to shower and a small butane stove to cook, and to keep food cold, a plug in cooler. I have put a lot of thought into living in a truck.

I am not solely relying on this fundraiser, but I will also be doing a bottle drive, looking for a part time weekend job to go along with the full time job I have. Cutting the price of the car cleanings I do in hopes it will bring in more customers. Anything you can help with including just sharing it so hopefully more people see this, would be very much appreciated.

Lastly, anybody who helps out with this fundraiser will be forever thanked with their name put onto the build of the truck so i never for get who helped me get there!
