Help a Sick Single Mom Save Her Home

Hello. This is very difficult for me.

I am a single mom trying to save our home while being in poor health in and out of the hospital since December.

In December I was taken to the ER weighing only 80 pounds. I remember the nurse saying I may not make it. I needed 3 blood transfusions. I only had 4 pints of blood in me and you need 12. I could not walk. My heart was overworked and I nearly went Into cardiac arrest.

I had 2 IVs working 24/7 for a week pumping in all sorts of meds to save my life. I was lacking in just about every thing. Iron, potassium, etc. I was malnourished due to the fact I could not eat. I had a blockage in my intestines and needed emergency surgery. It has been a journey every since. And far from over.

My ex husband put us in this position because He refuses to pay spousal support. Said I will never see a dime. Instead, said he will control how the money is spent. Saying he will use it to pay the mortgage so the kids always have their home. Well, he didn't and now we face foreclosure. 

I have a very limited time to stop this before a sale date is set. This is an emergency situation.

I've been trying to get a lawyer to fight the spousal support issue. Lawyers want over $2000 to start.

I am embarrassed to even ask.

We need $6000 to catch up the months he put us behind. I've not been told of any other fees. However, I found out he changed the mailing address so I would not receive any mail from my mortgage company. I've since changed it back but he can change it again. I foresee I battle with this. I assume he did this so I would not find out he put us in this horrible situation.

I dont want my kids or I to be homeless. We have no where to go. Both of my Parents passed a few years ago.

Being sick adds to the stress of all this. I'm Struggling to even type this out because my hands don't work like they used too. Every inch of my body is in pain.
