Marty came to my friend, Lesly's home as a therapy dog for her son, Jaden who was born with Agenesis of the Corpus Collosum. Jaden has had many challenges making his way in the world and Marty has been his social bridge, drawing people to him. He gives him unconditional love without judgement accelerating his healing.
It soon became clear that Marty was blessing everyone's minds. He was a therapy dog in the truest sense and has brought joy and healing to everyone he meets.
Our dear sweet Marty has developed Pancreatitus and along with his chronic Lyme disease has had to be hospitalized in Intensive Care for several days. We are praying for a full recovery, but it wil take time and more hospitalization.
We are asking for donations to help cover for his hospitalization and subsequent follow up care. Any donation is appreciated and leftover donations will be given to Canine Companions where Marty began his journey.
Marty, Jaden, Lesly, Zoe and all the people who love him, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
