Funeral arrangements for Matt Ballard
Donation protected
Mental health disease is something that touches us all, whether we choose to admit it or not. More times than not, the family of someone suffering is left to pick up the pieces after a loss.
On November 18th, Matt Ballard lost his battle when he died unexpectedly at home.
Understandably, his death has been a shock to his family and those who knew him. To the outside world, Matt was a devoted father to two beautiful girls, Lily (10) and Ella (9) and the loving son to his mother and best friend, Norma. Matt was by his mother’s side as she fought and lost a short battle with brain cancer just three months ago.
His daughters are now left only with memories of their youth with their father and his family will have to go on without a son, a brother, a brother-in-law, an uncle, a nephew and a friend.
I have started a GoFundMe page to help pay for the funeral costs for Matt as there is no insurance or funding available and therefore the financial burden falls on his family. I know that Matt’s family would never ask for money themselves, so I am doing it for them with the hope that we will be able to help cover the expenses. If any money is remaining, it will be put in a trust for his girls. No amount is too small
—this family, my friends, need support and we have a chance to help.
