I have located a wood-fired pizza truck with a beautiful wood-burning oven in the back. ￼
As I look to launch my dream, I am reaching out and asking for your help in getting Pizza Posto off the ground.
The money from this campaign will be used to help acquire the truck and pay for the use of a commissary kitchen necessary for all food preparation. Additional funds will be spent on acquiring permits necessary for operation, as well as marketing assets needed to get the word out about Pizza Posto.
The food truck is not the end goal for Pizza Posto; it is simply the easiest point of entry into the pizza business for a bootstrapping recent college grad. The end goal is still a brick and mortar location in Downtown Geneva, New York which we hope to achieve in the next couple of years.
The $10,000 that I won last year during HWS’ annual Pitch Competition is the seed money that has taken me this far (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msN3yps-o1U – My Pitch starts at 21:35). I must also thank the Centennial Center for Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and innovation, and the Entrepreneurial Studies department for their unwavering support of Pizza Posto, as well as Kristen and Rhonda who own the Buffalonian food truck. Pizza Posto would not be positioned as well as it is today without their help.
