First of all we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your time! It means the world to us to even consider supporting our project at this moment in time.
ABOUT US
We are Madison, Gianmarco and Piero a little plant-powered family living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Gianmarco and I have always worked in hospitality we love how vibrant, lively and interesting it is, plus we love connecting with people and working hard. In fact we met working together at one of the busiest plant based pizzerias in the world, Gigi’s in Sydney. Since we met it has been a dream of ours to travel, make people happy and to do what we love!
THE IDEA
Our idea is to make a plant based pizza trailer, we want to prove pizza can also be great without animal products! We wish to bring our passion for pizza to you via markets, festivals and private events. We will be based on the Sunshine Coast but we will be more than happy to travel to wherever your event, celebration or venue may be. We have already purchased an old horse float that we want to repurpose and recycle into our pizza trailer. We chose a horse float because it’s able to carry a lot of weight like the pizza oven, fridges, working bench etc. Also it is not too big, strong and super easy to transport. Our business will be called 'roro' which is one of the nicknames we call our son Piero.
WHY CROWD FUND?
We considered doing this a number of ways but in the end we decided that we would rather have this project be a collaboration within our local community. We want you along for the ride with us, updating and involving all our supporters from the beginning to the finished project!
YOUR IMPACT
We will be overjoyed with any donation or just your support via sharing our page. Any contribution will go strait to the project, our goal is to reach $50,000.
We want to be transparent in where your support will be going so these are our goals:
· Basic Equipment $21,800 (Wood fire pizza oven, professional fridge/bench, Italian made dough machine, generator)
· Exterior $5900 (painting and wrapping, framework)
· Horse float conversion $ 30,450 (food grade kitchen, service window, water pump/filter system, water tanks, plumbing & electricity setup, certification and fit out. see below image for full cost rundown)
