Pixie’s Treatment

Hello,
This is Pixie. She is a 1 year old pug turning 2 this July.
She is a very happy and playful pup, but recently she was diagnosed with hydronephrosis, which is an enlargement of the kidney that may be due to a tumor or blockade in the kidney tubules, which causes the kidney to swell. If left untreated, it could lead to permanent damage. Pixie has not been able to eat without throwing up due to the size and nature of the left kidney pushing against her intestines. Pixie will need pre-operative and post-operative care that costs a tremendous amount of money, which neither my family and I could afford. So far, her estimated surgery cost is 6k.
As seen on the X-ray, Pixie's kidney is shoving her intestines to one side of her body.
I am a college student, and I don’t have much to give to Pixie, so I reach out to everyone in my community. I don't have all the money to pay for her expenses, and I would do anything to keep her safe. I love my Pixie so much, and I would give everything I have just to keep her healthy and alive. I don't know if I could ever enjoy a world without Pixie. She's helped me through so much.
