Pixie Fennessey-Surgery-Kenya

Pixie Fennessey, is in Nairobi volunteering at the By Grace Orphanage.  Last  week, she fell and fractured her hip.  Although she has insurance through her job as a professor at Richland CommunityCollege, it will not cover her medical expenses in this hospital.  She had surgery to replace her hip. 

After the surgery, the surgeon realized that the wrong size ball was used.  She then had a second surgery to replace it with a different size.  She is recovering from those surgeries now.  In addition,  she will also have to stay in Kenya and receive physical therapy there as well.  None of her expenses will be covered by her insurance.

Pixie is on her 27th trip to work with the children of By Grace Disabled and Orphaned Children.  She has dedicated her life to helping raise money to feed, provide water, housing and educate the children at this orphanage.  We are asking for your help to give back to her at a time she needs it most.
