Hi, all! Many of you may know of our pup Pixel, but what you may or may not know is that he has been limping for a little while.
We finally have a diagnosis, and it's that he has Bilateral Cruciate Ligament Ruptures. What this means is that he has essentially torn his ACLS in each of his hind legs. The most common reason for this is a genetic degenerative joint disease called Canine Osteoarthritis.
To solve this, Pixel will need a surgery for each leg. He will undergo a surgery called a TPLO, and they have a 90% rate of dogs never having the issue again.
I understand that you may not have time, energy, or money to spare, but I would appreciate it if you would share this fundraiser.
This dog has been the light of my life, and my best friend. He brings so much joy to my life, and I want to ensure he has the best life he can.
Thank you all. - Ellie, Alex, and Pixel
