PITTS FAMILY FIGHT

Hello everyone,

The Pitts Family is AGAIN fighting for their girls after devastating news that their eldest daughter Matilda has a tumor on her spine and have spent the last 4 weeks at PCH undergoing surgery and treatment. She has an extensive major spinal surgery in the coming days.

In 2020 their youngest daughter Danika was diagnosed with Brain Cancer in 2020 and is still currently receiving treatment. So, to receive this news about Matilda it broke our hearts. They now have to face doing this all over again. To have two daughters diagnosed with cancer is indescribable and soul shattering.

Matilda has a mammoth road ahead of her and she needs her mum and dad. Scott and Tash will be by her side while she undergoes treatment, navigating their way through surgery, intense radiation and possibly chemotherapy. The amazing team at Perth Children's Hospital will guide them along the way.

The family is based in Roelands. While Matilda is in Perth, her sisters Georgia and Danika have the love of their grandparents who have stepped in and taken on the role of parents, trying to keep their loves and routines as normal as possible.

To enable them to be by her side it means Scott will not be able to work and after supporting the family through Danika's treatment over the last three years, Scott is depleted of his leave from his workplace.
