My name is Joseph W. Phipps and I host/manage/edit a show called Library of the Untold, specializing in esoteric documentaries. I research and explain the lesser known, but important sides of history, mythology and occult subjects that pertain to today's science and society.

I have been meaning to upgrade my computer to better handle the larger files of film and music for some time now, as the normal stock computer that is typically sold at stores is not optimal for editing full blown documentaries. I have been making this pc work, while on its brink, by always deleting old work after externally saving each time in order to make room for the next project.

Welp: after filming for the next episode, uploading the files to edit finally caused my trusted pc to call it quits. I am just thankful that I was not halfway through editing when this happened, as not much manual work has been lost, and my footage is saved to an external drive. However, I will not be able to continue on creating until I solve this problem.

I have recently taken this entire project from a wonderfully obsessive hobby to a full-time job, as each new episode is highly anticipated by an invaluable online community of inspired souls. A new computer is no longer a work around hiccup, but a must have commodity.

I am raising money to purchase a custom build desk-top computer that will do that job and last a lifetime. I have all the specifics listed and the people needed to make this happen.

I have never, in my 3.5-year film making career, asked for money from viewers or even taken sponsors that offer money to interrupt the videos with plugged products. It seems that I can pay my bills without that fluff, but I cannot afford a new computer to keep it going.

I am asking the above-mentioned viewers to pitch in with me to help me get the tools needed to, not only keep this thing going, but to optimize the workflow and quality of future content that is meant strictly and only to bring wonder and light to a world that is bereft of meaning. Our community works to make the world a better place by playing our small part in something big.

So, poetic rhetoric aside, please: Help my broke ass buy a new computer! And I'll have this next documentary out in a Jiff.
