Pitch Him To Colombia!

Local Stouffville softball player Brad Barker has been chosen to represent Canada on the Canadian Men's National Team that will compete in the 2023 WBSC Americas Pan American Championship from September 3-9 in Sincelejo, Colombia!

When I first met Brad in 2014, when he was 10 years old, he shared with me his dream of making Team Canada one day. For the past 9 years, my dad (Kelly Matthews) and I have had the privilege of training Brad in hopes of making this dream come true. On August 22, 2023, Brad was named to the roster of the Canadian National Team after pitching, playing first base, and bating his way to a gold medal at last weekend's U20 Canadian National Championship with the Napanee Express. I have made this Go Fund Me page to help Brad with the cost of travel to Colombia - he leaves next week! Any support to help our local athlete would be appreciated!
