‘Pistol’ Pete ‘the pipe’ gibbs

Hi, My name is Nic and sadly my father Pete Gibbs passed away on 9th June 2025 after a short stay in hospital, dad wasn’t one for flowers, he didn’t grow anything he couldn’t eat so requested no flowers at his funeral, instead we are raising money for a bench and plaque which will reside at his much loved local The Wheatsheaf, Didcot for friends and family to sit and have a pint and a good old chat just like he did. Any money raised above the price of the bench will be donated to the Oxford City hospitals charity in his honour as he was looked after so fantastically during his short time at both The John Radcliffe and The Churchill.
