Pirtek are supporting the NorthCare Charity this year to raise funds for research into Fibromuscular Dysplasia (FMD), a cause close to our hearts, as one of our much loved Franchisees is battling this rare condition.

FMD is an under-diagnosed and rare blood vessel condition which we do not yet know the cause or have specific treatments for. It can result in high blood pressure, strokes, heart attacks and kidney impairment.

NorthCare Charity helps Northern Care Alliance (NCA) NHS Foundation Trust to deliver outstanding care, and fund innovative equipment, education, research, and wellbeing activities. Additional funding also supports NHS staff to deliver the best care possible for over a million patients and their families every year.
