Pirate need request: Home Access ramps for Joey

This fundraiser is to help Joey Spencer,  a dear friend and fellow Facebook page owner and advocate in the autism community. Joey and her husband Larry have two children, Piper and Riley. When Joey isn't advocating for her son Riley, she is constantly looking out for everyone else before herself. She has been having some major health struggles. Recently she was informed by her doctors that she has to have her leg amputated. Joey is the strongest woman I know, one amazing mama, advocate, and friend. She is in good spirits, and fights the weight of her struggles with laughter. So we will do our fundraising in a way that honors who Joey is as a person. That was one of the families requests to me in this difficult time.  Joey figured since she was going to be losing her leg what better time to become a full fledged pirate? Once she gets her official peg leg she will need a ramp to get in and out of her ships cabin door, (in and out of her home). This is where we need the assistance from her second family in the virtual world to reach our goal of $1000. Let's take the weight of this purchase off this family's shoulders. Every donation helps. Joey has plenty to take on with these big changes coming, if we can all help to get her the ramps she needs that will at least give her one less thing to worry about, and for the kids to worry about as well. Please consider helping with a monetary gift and sharing so we can reach our goal.  *Edited* the family has been informed of some new expenses with modifications to their home that will be needed as well as the post surgery medications.
