Hi there!
To our friends, family, and our extended incredible community. After a year of living with back + nerve pain that could silence even the toughest rockstar, Pip went in for back surgery six weeks ago. We all had front-row seats, cheering her on. However, the show flopped and the pain is still there and completely debilitating, and so the sequel surgery is now booked.
Here’s the kicker: this surgery is costing a $50,000.
Pip being Pip, she never wanted the spotlight on her. She’s stoic, stubborn, and allergic to asking for help. Something I know a lot of us can relate too.
If you know Pip, you know she’s usually the one plating up like the headline act she is - hunting, fishing, cooking, holding space, and keeping the whole show on the road. She’s a pillar in our community, the kind of person who never misses a beat for anyone else.
Now it’s our turn to step up as the support act.
Every dollar is an encore clap, bringing her closer to a pain-free life and back to the work and dalliances she loves... and misses greatly. Whether it’s the price of a coffee, a concert ticket, or a five-star rider, it all adds up.
Let’s help Pip swap back pain for a comeback, and get her on stage (and on her feet) again. Funds raised will cover the cost of her “main stage” surgery, and also help keep the lights on during the recovery encore (aka the months ahead for rehab when she can’t work).
Donate, share, cheer her on from backstage... or the stadium nosebleeds.
Thanks a trillion and big love from her number one groupies,
xx Bec + Wal
(ps. if you read this Pip, please still be our friend).
