Please take a moment to imagine finding a tennis ball size lump on your beautiful little 4 year old sassy girls neck. A visit to the doctor and given medication for an infection with no sign of reduction. A hospital admission because further investigation was needed.
Now imagine this same little girl being prodded and scanned over a two week period to find out she has stage 3/4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. A common cancer that is uncommon for children under the age of 10. This was only one month and 14 days ago.
She will now spend the next 7 to 12 months receiving treatment at the Royal Children’s Hospital with the family needing to travel over 300km return for her health care. She starts Chemo this coming week.
Pippa is the youngest of 4 children and lives with her Mum (Hannah) & Dad (Keith). As you could imagine their lives have been turned upside down with not only caring for Pippa and a young family, but learning to negotiate dropping to a single income.
We cant help Pippa fight this disease but what we can do is help her beautiful family be there to support her in every moment possible. As you can imagine life doesn’t stop in moments like this. Bills and living expenses still keep coming in, not to mention the added travel and accomodation costs. We want to help this family as much as possible.
Please donate to an amazing beautiful family whose whole world has been turned upside down! Every little bit helps!
Thanks
