Hi Family & Friends,

I’m so excited to share, that I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to train at the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre School, in New York for five weeks this summer, starting in June!

The Alvin Ailey Summer school is a very competitive and prestigious dance programme with national and worldwide auditions for 16-25 year olds . This year, I’ve been chosen to be one of their 225 young dancers from across the world. This has been a long-held ambition of mine, and I feel so grateful to have the chance to make it a reality.

Many of you have supported and followed my dance journey so far, from performances with my local ballet school to choreographing and dancing at Fairfield Halls for the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust and as a member of the English National Ballet Youth Co-connect young collective.

This course will be a defining chapter in my dance career and as a performer. The total cost of an opportunity like this is in excess of £5000, which covers tuition and full board accommodation in New York. My fundraising target of £2000 will help cover some of the fees.
