This tiny little warrior is Pippa. She is a female pekingnese estimated to be aged between five to seven years old.

Pippa was taken into care with three other dogs at the beginning of 2025.

They were retrieved from a house that very sadly was not a suitable environment for any pet or human.

This unfortunately led to the severe neglect of little Pippa.

The saddest part of Pippa's story is that a past injury has left her with a completely broken lower jaw. For reasons unknown to us her jaw was never fixed. This has resulted in it healing as a permanent break, Causing her to not be able to eat properly, chew or even pick up her little toys.

As you can see in the photos Pippa's tongue is permanently out and her lower jaw is unable to move at all leaving it hanging and in danger of infection.

All Pippa's siblings were successfully re- homed but Pippa desperately needs surgery to either remove her bottom jaw permanently or have it completely reconstructed. Giving her the best chance of living the pain free life she deserves. Unfortunately this comes at a huge cost and the rescuers just can't afford it all.

This little warrior really is the friendliest, sweetest and bravest little girl we have ever met. We just knew we had to help when we met her. She has been through so much in her short little life yet still only wants to be loved and asks for nothing more. She has shown us all how brave she is in abundance.
