There is nothing that prepares you for the moment you realize something might be wrong with your child.
Piper was born perfect. A full-term pregnancy, no complications, no NICU—just a beautiful, healthy baby girl that we dreamed of bringing home. And for those first few weeks, everything felt exactly how it was supposed to.
But around 4½ weeks old, that quiet feeling crept in—the one you can’t explain, but you can’t ignore either.
Something wasn’t right.
What followed were months filled with appointments, tests, and waiting. Waiting for answers. Waiting for someone to tell us what was happening to our baby. We went through EEGs, an MRI, and multiple rounds of genetic testing, holding onto hope while preparing for the unknown.
Then came the diagnosis: CASK disorder with MICPCH.
An ultra-rare condition that changed everything.
Since then, every single milestone has become a battle. Piper is 19 months old and still cannot walk or talk. Sitting independently is something she is still working so hard to achieve. She depends on a feeding tube to eat. Things that come naturally to most children are mountains she has to climb every single day.
And yet… she never gives up.
Piper wakes up and fights—every day—with a strength that doesn’t make sense for someone so small. She smiles through therapies. She pushes through challenges that would break most of us. She is our “liocorn,” our fierce little warrior, and the light of our lives.
But behind her strength is a reality we can’t ignore.
Her journey requires constant care—intensive therapies, specialized medical equipment, and travel for treatment. These are not optional for Piper. They are her chance at progress. Her chance at independence. Her chance at the life she deserves.
And the truth is… it’s more than we can carry alone.
As parents, you want to give your child everything they need without hesitation. But we’ve reached a point where the financial burden is heavy and we need your help.
If you feel moved to support Piper, your donation will go directly toward:
* Life-changing therapy programs
* Critical medical care and equipment
* Travel to specialists who understand her condition
* Daily needs that come with her diagnosis
If you’re not able to donate, sharing Piper’s story means more than we can ever put into words.
Every share, every prayer, every bit of support helps carry her forward.
We believe in Piper with everything we have.
Thank you for believing in her too
