Hi my name is Steph and I’m trying to raise money for my dogs surgery. I rescued Piper from the ACCT in Philly back in February. She had a very bad life before we found one another. She was brought to the shelter after a repair man saw her stuck in a pipe (hence the name Piper). She was emaciated, full of scars and terrified of people. Since adopting her, she’s exploded out of her shell and has become the sweetest little playful baby. She’s my entire world. I noticed her limping and brought her to the vet, who referred her to a specialist. Both of Piper’s hind legs have “sliding knees”. Her knee cap groove isn’t deep enough and it will only get better by surgery. She also needs an ACL repair on her one leg. My family and I are able to cover one leg surgery, but unfortunately we can’t cover both. Please help us. Piper is so sweet and loving and deserves to life her best live possible.
