Anyone who knows my brother Joe knows how much he absolutely adored his cat, Piper. She was a playful, spirited young cat with an unforgettable funny personality. Tragically, Piper became very ill a couple of weeks ago. Despite several veterinary appointments and a surgical procedure, her little body became too weak to fight any longer.

Although her time with Joe was far too short, he did everything in his power to care for and save Piper–and would have continued to do so without hesitation. Sadly, along with the heartbreak of losing Piper, he is now facing significant veterinary bills.

I have created this fundraiser to help my brother during this difficult time. It is heartbreaking that he not only lost his cherished friend, but must now shoulder these financial burdens.
