On Thursday September 17th my niece Piper went to do her morning chores of feeding her horses, what started as a routine everyday thing quickly turned into an emergency when her pony spooked and kicked while she was going into pet her. Pipers face was at just the right level and she took the pony’s kick resulting in her jaw broken in 3 places and a non displaced skull fracture and slight brain bleed. She was mediflighted to Valley children’s where she underwent surgery on 9/18 to put a plate in her jaw and she will have it wired shut for the next 4 weeks. Piper is a tough cowgirl through and through but she’s got a long road of recovery ahead and needs her Mama by her side every step of the way. My sister is one of the hardest working women I know and doesn’t need to be concerned about returning to work right now. Let’s all come together and give this cowgirl our love and her Mama some piece of mind while she helps her baby heal.Organizer and beneficiary
