Piper Needs Your Help: Facing Homelessness

Thank you for coming to my GoFundMe page. I'm Piper, a 54yo single woman who lost her job in October and then had $1700 taken from her in November and December through fraudulent bank transactions (claim filed but resolution/restitution won't be until mid-January).

I defaulted on all my financial obligations this month and am looking at not being able to pay my rent (or anything else) until the fraud is resolved and someone starts paying me to work again.

I'd never ask for money like this but I've never been in a situation as dire as this. I'm terrified of being forced into homelessness at 54. Without any family to ask for help (I'm an only child with dead parents), I'm in a pickle and don't know where else to turn.

Any amount you donate to my survival I will repay when I'm back in a secure situation or I will pay it forward and help someone else in need. If you have a preference, please let me know.
