I am a mother of 3 beautiful children and our family has been displaced from our home on Christmas Eve due to the recent Atlanta Winter Freeze. In a nutshell a vacant apartment 3 floors up from ours pipes burst and between that water damage and the sprinkler system, we have extensive water damage to our home and everything we own has been soaked in water. My family and i have lost all of our furniture, personal items and we have to stay in a hotel until further notice.

We have renters insurance and have filed a claim however they are taking their time to process the help for us, the apartment complex is not accepting any liability nor are they offering assistance with hotels, wet vac services, and meanwhile the apartment smells like mildew, the water is a tan/brown/yellow color and we cannot live in the home anymore the electronics are all not usable.

As a mother, I want to do the best I can for the children but seeing them cry brought me to tears as we are trying to rebuild some sense of normalcy for them. Requesting any help you can give at this time to cover takeout foods, hotel/Airbnb stay for the week, movers to remove the damaged items from the apt unit and any immediate additional expenses that may arise.
