Z pękającymi sercami, w imieniu rodziny i najbliższych, zwracamy się do Was z ogromną prośbą o wsparcie w najtrudniejszym momencie naszego życia.

​Dnia 23 kwietnia 2026 roku, zaledwie na kilka dni przed swoimi urodzinami, odszedł od nas w Wielkiej Brytanii nasz wspaniały przyjaciel, ukochany syn, brat i tata – Piotr Golec (ur. 28.04.1983 r.). Piotr był osobą pełną życia, aktywną, niezwykle komunikatywną i życzliwą.

Bardzo dbał o swoje zdrowie, zawsze był uśmiechnięty i gotowy nieść pomoc jako wierny przyjaciel. Pozostawił po sobie pustkę, której nie da się wypełnić.

​Wciąż czekamy na oficjalne informacje od koronera, by poznać ostateczną przyczynę jego nagłego odejścia. W związku z tym bardzo prosimy o uszanowanie pamięci zmarłego oraz spokoju rodziny w tym pełnym bólu czasie oczekiwania i niezadawanie pytań o szczegóły.

​Naszym jedynym pragnieniem jest sprowadzenie Piotra do domu, do rodzinnego Słupska, abyśmy mogli godnie go pożegnać. Ostateczne miejsce spoczynku Piotra to CMENTARZ ZACHODNI-NOWY (ul. W. Szymborskiej 7, 76-200 Słupsk).

​Obecnie naszym absolutnym priorytetem jest wsparcie rodziców Piotra w sfinansowaniu kosztów transportu ich syna do Polski. Aby cały proces był w pełni bezpieczny i przejrzysty, mama Piotra założyła specjalne konto. Na ten moment sprowadzenie ciała to jedyna rzecz, jaką możemy zrobić, ponieważ wszystkie inne formalności w UK są wstrzymane do czasu wydania dokumentu Apostille.

​Organizacją transportu i brytyjskich formalności zajmuje się Polski Zakład Pogrzebowy NOWAKOWSKI Funeral Directors LTD. Całkowity koszt sprowadzenia Piotra do kraju – obejmujący dom pogrzebowy w UK, przygotowanie sanitarne (Sanepid), komunikację z koronerem, przygotowanie i odbiór pełnej dokumentacji, pomoc prawną, tłumacza przysięgłego oraz uzyskanie niezbędnej klauzuli Apostille – wynosi 2300 funtów.

​Pragniemy z całą mocą podkreślić, że kwota 2300 funtów pokrywa wyłącznie transport i procedury w Wielkiej Brytanii. Nie są w nią wliczone koszty pogrzebu w Polsce. Rodzina musi we własnym zakresie opłacić dodatkowo polski zakład pogrzebowy oraz organizację ceremonii w Słupsku. Oznacza to, że kwota zbiórki to zaledwie połowa ogromnego ciężaru finansowego, z jakim mierzą się bliscy.

​Jeśli mieliście okazję pracować z Piotrem, jeśli był Wam bliski, lub jeśli po prostu na zawsze pozostanie w Waszych sercach – rodzina Piotra gorąco prosi o wsparcie każdego, kto ma taką możliwość.

Rodzice Piotra, gdy tylko stan zdrowia im na to pozwoli, będą ustalać szczegóły z zakładem pogrzebowym w Polsce. Sam transport do kraju oraz termin pogrzebu będą możliwe dopiero po uzyskaniu kompletu dokumentów .

Dear Friends, Acquaintances, and kind-hearted people,

With breaking hearts, on behalf of the family and loved ones, we reach out to you with an earnest plea for support during the most difficult moment of our lives.

​On the 23rd of April 2026, our wonderful friend, beloved son, brother, and dad – Piotr Golec (born 28.04.1983) – passed away in the UK. He was a person full of life, always smiling, and ready to help. He left behind a void that cannot be filled.

​We are still waiting for official information from the coroner to learn the final cause of his sudden passing. We kindly ask you to respect the memory of the deceased and the privacy of the grieving family during this painful time, and to refrain from asking for details.

​Our only desire is to bring Piotr home to Słupsk, Poland, so we can bid him a dignified farewell. His final resting place will be the CMENTARZ ZACHODNI-NOWY (Western-New Cemetery, W. Szymborskiej 7, 76-200 Słupsk).

​Currently, our absolute priority is to support Piotr's parents in covering the costs of bringing their son back to Poland. To ensure this process is completely safe and transparent, Piotr's mother has specifically opened . All funds raised here will go directly to this account to cover only the legal and repatriation procedures. At this moment, bringing him home is the only step we can take, as all other formalities in the UK are on hold pending the issuance of the Apostille document.

All UK transport and legal formalities are being organised by NOWAKOWSKI Funeral Directors LTD. The total cost of bringing Piotr back to the country – including the UK funeral home, sanitary preparation (Sanepid), communication with the coroner, preparation and collection of full documentation, legal assistance, a sworn translator, and obtaining the necessary Apostille – is £2,300.

​We wish to emphasize with all our might that the amount of £2,300 only covers the transport and procedures within the United Kingdom. It does not include the costs of the funeral in Poland. The family must independently pay for an additional Polish funeral home and the organization of the ceremony in Słupsk. This means that the fundraising goal is merely half of the massive financial burden the family is facing. For a family living in Poland, with the current exchange rates, this is an insurmountable barrier.

​If you had the opportunity to work with Piotr, if he was close to you, or if he will simply remain in your hearts forever – Piotr's family earnestly asks for the support of anyone who has the possibility to help.

Update 06.05.2026 – May 7th, 2026: We would like to inform you that today, Piotr's body is being officially released and transferred to NOWAKOWSKI Funeral Directors in Slough (288 Farnham Rd, SL1 4XL). As soon as their health permits, Piotr's parents will be coordinating further steps with the funeral home in Poland. The repatriation itself and the date of the funeral can only be finalized once all official documents.
