Pinnacle Peak Weather Station

We have been approved to install a remote weather station within Pinnacle Park, atop Pinnacle Peak, however we need to raise $1,935 to purchase the station.
Local Yokel Weather has donated $500 toward the total costs of the project and agreed to pay the recurring annual cellular and archived data costs ($288/yr).
Any help you can provide is appreciated. Even $1 goes a long way!
The station is a Davis Instruments Vantage Pro 2 , using a Cellular Gateway to transmit live weather data every 5 minutes. No station currently exists within Pinnacle Park or along the remainder of the Plott Balsams. This location at 4724' would provide a unique insight into the higher elevations surrounding Sylva and a useful piece of information for those hiking to Pinnacle Peak.
Data will be accessible via the Local Yokel Weather and Town of Sylva website or upon request (live page or archived data). It's our hope this station will be used by those who enjoy Pinnacle Park, including those who monitor and conduct environmental research.
- Access to data is free and available upon request.
- LYW will maintain the weather station annually (life expectancy ranges from 8 - 12 yrs).
- LYW will pay the $240/yr cellular subscription costs to maintain live data stream to websites.
- LYW will pay the $4/mo WeatherLink live subscription costs to maintain archived data.
If we exceed $1,935 we will move the goalpost to $4,000 to purchase a second weather station to be installed at the trailhead. This would provide a temperature profile from the trailhead (3061') to Pinnacle Peak (4724').
