Thank you all for participating in this year’s Pinkvember event. With this event, we aim to raise money for Pink Ribbon (breast cancer research) and Movember (testicular and prostate cancer research and mental health awareness).

With each milestone reached, certain participants agreed to do something silly or funny. We aim to raise money in a fun, light-hearted way, but we all agree these are serious matters. For example, 1 in 7 women in the Netherlands get diagnosed with breast cancer, and globally spoken, every minute a man commits suicide.

Besides the money we try to raise for research and awareness, it is also about getting a conversation started. Too many people are struggling in life without feeling they have anyone to talk to.

So please join us in getting the conversation going and raising funds for these charities. All donations will be matched by the “Giving together” program from Gilead, so every euro is actually worth two euros!
