Hi, my name is Jamie Gilley and I'm fundraising to help pay for legal fees needed to fight against Pinehurst Place & Commons Homeowners Association gone ROGUE. I have lived in my home for 20+ years and the last 5 years, I've tried to help enforce compliance from our boards. I continue attempting to work with our board which refuses to work with me on behalf of many of our homeowners who have been bullied and to sccared to fight due to retaliation. I hope once we win in court, it will set a precedent for other HOAs and help create legislative action that govern HOAs. Very few states have HOA laws & regulations.
These allegations include but are not limited to the following:
- breach of fiduciary responsibilities
- ongoing gross negligence & willful misconduct
- removal of the Board President who has multi-million dollar liens against her as CFO of the company where she works
- conflict of interest (Board President using her company for pool maintenance/products)
- refusal of an audit by a 3rd party
- refusal to provide documents as authorized in our governing documents
- refusal to announce board meetings and allow homeowners to attend
- election fraud (candidates/board members take home ballots)
- the nominating committee appointed someone with a public announcement of resignation to deny a homeowner/whistleblower the run for the board
- invoices/payments to utility companies do not match monthly HOA statements
- excessive attorney fees as a result of the board's refusal to answer homeowner inquiries and requests for documents
- multiple years of incorrect election documentation mailed to homeowners
