My father passed away when I was two years old in a very traumatic fire-related incident. His grave is unmarked, and the cemetery where he rests, Pine Hill Cemetery in McCalla, Alabama, has become overgrown with weeds, pine needles, trash, debris, and tall grass. I believe that by cleaning up the cemetery, it could spark memories for family and friends who attended his funeral service and bring a sense of peace to those who visit.
This project is deeply personal to me, but it also has the potential to help others. I need lawn equipment and supplies to begin the cleanup, and your support will make it possible. In the future, I plan to use the equipment purchased to assist additional families who may have loved ones buried in similar circumstances, ensuring that Pine Hill Cemetery remains a place of dignity and remembrance for everyone.
If you feel moved by this story, please consider sharing the fundraiser on social media to help spread the word. Your support, whether through donations or simply sharing, will make a real difference in honoring my father and helping our community.
