Let me introduce you to two pilots, Dave and Ari, who love animals and are committed to using their skills to help rescue them and connect them with their furever homes. Both men are fully licensed commercial instrument rated pilots, and they both value safety and professionalism above all.
These two men do not take or receive any compensation at all; they selflessly volunteer their time and skills with a rescue organization dedicated to rescuing animals all over the country.

Both Dave and Ari love animals of all kinds, and both have dogs as part of their family. They are both dedicated family men looking to use their skills to bring some good to animals that need a loving home. Dave has a rescue dog, a long-haired Dachshund named Nugget. He was rescued from a horrible situation, an over-crowded puppy mill with abysmal conditions for the animals. When he rescued Nugget, he was only four months old, but so much damage had been done to him in such a short time. Nugget is now a happy, spoiled, six-year-old dog living his best life with his brother Pickle. Nugget's story struck a chord with Ari when he heard it, as he has a rescue dog himself. The two men decided that they wanted to do their part to help animals who couldn't otherwise help themselves.
Dave and Ari do what they can with their own money, from paying for plane costs, fuel costs, and any other associated costs involving the plane or the flight; to put the cost of operating the plane into perspective aviation fuel can cost upwards of $7.00 per gallon, and a plane can use 10 to 15 gallons per hour, plus the fixed operation cost of maintenance and insurance that cost $70 to $85 dollars a hour, you can see that operating a plane can cost between $140 to $190 dollars per flight hour which is why they need our help. They have realized that they can do this on a much bigger scale with the help of animal lovers world-wide. They have decided to use crowd sourcing as a means to raise funds and continue their volunteer efforts.
Both men believe in full transparency, so you should know that all donations made will be used strictly to pay for the cost of the plane and fuel costs. No compensation is taken by either pilot. They are not doing this for the money, rather they are doing it to ensure that all animals get a chance at a loving home and do not have to spend their lives, or in some cases lose their lives without knowing the love of a family.
