We are reaching out to invite you to partner with us in launching Cross Waves, a 15-day surf-based discipleship camp for youth aged 15–17. Rooted in the culture of Christian Surfers, this camp is designed to help young people grow in faith, leadership, and community with Jesus at the centre.

We’re thrilled to share that one of our local young groms (Callum) has been invited to join our pilot trip this year in late September. Callum has recently been baptised and has a growing desire to know God more, and we believe this opportunity could be a significant turning point in his faith journey. This pilot trip will be a two-week trip to Rote Island, Indonesia, and is designed to be a faith focused journey to grow each other in our walk with Jesus.

To make this trip a reality not only for him but for the wider group, we are seeking $4,000 in fundraising support. This amount would help:

• Fully cover the cost of this young grom’s participation

• Contribute to the flight costs of other leaders attending the camp

• Test the program, allowing us to test run this program for future years to come

The full cost per person is roughly $3,000, covering international and local travel, food, and accommodation. While we are working to keep costs as low as possible, we also want to make sure finances are not a barrier for those God is calling to be part of this trip. This trip will not just be your typical “Indo surf trip” but is designed to be super intentional, diving into God’s word daily having an hour devotion each morning and participating in helping the local surf skate program, local churches, and local economy of Rote Island. We are also helping Groundswell Aid with their new development and installing water filters in the local area.
