Pillow Talk (Queers on the Moon Productions)

Pillow Talk is a one-act original play by Cory Sapienza being put up this August in Liverpool, UK in partnership with Queers on the Moon Productions!

Pillow Talk is a new play that follows a trans man's journey as he discovers his sexual identity across three different sexual partners. The play focuses on sex from a trans lens and the importance of communication and consent in the bedroom. The aim is to open a discussion about trans gay sexuality, as well as to provide representation of what sex can be like for trans people – something that is rarely shown in media.

We are a group of young trans and queer creatives who are passionate about transforming the theatre industry's representation of our communities. As anyone in the creative industry knows, many productions (especially those by young creatives) start from a budget of zero - which is where you come in! In addition to applying for funding from arts organizations, we are hoping that our community can help support us in bringing this story to life.

Our primary expenses will be hiring a performance venue and rehearsal spaces, with all additional funds going towards paying the company for their labour. We have a team of twelve people who are all giving immense amounts of time and energy to this production, and the more we can afford to pay them, the better!

Our show will be performed from August 24-27 in Liverpool, England (venue TBD) and will feature the talents of current LIPA students and graduates.
