PIKE Halftime 2019
Donation protected
The brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha are pleased to announce PIKE Halftime and Dream Girl Competition will be held on November 14, 2019. PIKE Halftime gives 100% of profits to the CHOMP Cancer Foundation, an organization created by PIKE brother Riqui Villegas. As a Freshman, brother Riqui Villegas was diagnosed with lymphoma. He spent 4 months receiving chemotherapy and was finally declared cancer free this year after 5 years of remission.
The circumstances which he went through led him to start the CHOMP Cancer Foundation. CHOMP stands for the 5 ways to beat cancer: Care, Hope, Optimism, Medicine, and Prayer. Through events like PIKE Halftime, CHOMP Cancer is able to raise money for Palliative Care through organizations such as Streetlight UF. Palliative care is specialized comfort care for people living with chronic or life-threatening illnesses. Streetlight is aimed at helping adolescents navigate through the struggles of growing up with their illness. CHOMP also aims to provide financial support to cancer patients and their families who do not have the ability to provide for themselves. CHOMP has touched many different patients in many different ways.
Please consider supporting CHOMP Cancer along with the brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha as we have increased our goal to $100,000 this year. Together we will CHOMP Cancer!
