PFG Dublin 2025
Donation protected
To raise money for Thurles and Littleton parish churches.
In the 1920's the two churches along with Holycross and Dovea formed part of what was known as Thurles Union. In 1922, Canon William became the rector of Thurles Union and he died in office on 14th December 1934. Canon Andrew succeeded him as Rector of Thurles Union. They and their respective wives are buried in the graveyard at Littleton. Both churches are still operational supported by a small group of committed parishioners.
To honour Canon William, his wife Florence, Canon Andrew and his wife Mabel it is fitting that their descendants make a financial contribution to the upkeep of the two churches on the occasion of the PFG 2025 in Dublin.
Both churches have tiny congregations. Littleton is where William, Florence, Andrew and Mabel are buried. Their graves are well maintained by the parishioners. Both churches are worthy of our support.
