SYNOPSIS:
Our eight year old Terrier, Pikachu, accidentally stepped in a gopher hole while playing outside a few weeks ago. At first, she didn't show much pain, but soon she stopped putting weight on her leg and we noticed she was struggling more and more. We took her into a clinic where they got an x-ray and told us her shoulder was dislocated and needed to go into the ER. We took her to the ER and they told us she tore the ligament in her shoulder that holds it in place and we only had two options either amputate her paw for $4000 or perform surgery in which she can get full function for 7500. My mother couldn't afford it and was upset saying we would have to put her down. The hospital said it would be better to give her up to an animal shelter and hope she gets adopted. Instead, I decided to pay for her surgery, but I need help if anyone is able to help at this time.

Back story: Pikachu originally belonged to a family that played on the same soccer team as my brother. The family didn't want her and decided to abandon her on the soccer field they practiced on. My dad didn't feel comfortable leaving her in the winter and decided to take her home instead. When we got her, her tail was broken and she had fear to sudden movements and loud noises. Over the years she's become a part of our family. We used to have a labrador she became quick best friends with, but unfortunately out labrador passed away a year ago, and Pikachu has been a bit depressed over the loss.

With my father going into surgery on the same week as Pikachu, it's a big hit to my family.
