Piggys Eye Surgery




Meet Piggy, she is a seven weeks old chinese pug. Me and my boyfriend Jose have only had her since October 12th. Piggy loves to play outside and with her brother, Kitty. At first we thought it was just a cute little play date until one night we realized Piggy hardly opening her right eye. We let her sleep on it but when we woke up she couldn’t even open her eye. I had to open it for her and when I did it was cloudy blue. I went to the vet right away and they strongly suggested Piggy sees an eye specialist before the eye erupts. She has a deep cut which got infected due to Kittys nails being dirty. With only using the eye drops and e-collar given to us and keeping her in her kennel so she can’t play or climb/jump on furniture Piggy only has a 20% chance of getting better on her own without surgery. We were not planning for this kind of expense. We just want Piggy to get the help she needs and save her eye before its to late. Me and Jose will be very greatful for anyone willing to help.
