Pigeon River Guide Relief Fund

My name is Nila Bias, I grew up in Newport, TN and was a Raft Guide in Hartford for 6 years. Following the floods brought on by Hurricane Helene, many of my old coworkers and friends still living and working in the area lost everything they owned. As of now, many of them are without housing, clothing, or a reliable source of water, and many have been forced to live in their vehicles or seek lodging from friends and family in the area.

This fundraiser is in place to provide direct financial support to Raft Guides and Rafting Outfitter Employees in Hartford, TN who were affected by the flooding brought by Hurricane Helene.

The flooding was the worst the Pigeon and French Broad Rivers have seen in living memory, and many raft guides who worked in Hartford have lost everything they own. These funds will be distributed directly to those individuals to help them with a fresh start and replace as much of what was lost as possible. Please help in any way you can.
