Last summer my mom was diagnosed with stage four kidney cancer. She was told she has 7-10 months to live. She immediately began treatment to stop the cancer from spreading. In the process, she has become overwhelmed. Dealing with the emotions of everything has been hard. She has preferred to stay quiet about her sickness. Fast forward to the present, Mom is not doing well. She has lost her hair and her mobility. She has lost her independence to complete simple tasks. She can no longer enjoy her everyday life. As a family, we have come together to care for her as best we can. She is currently in the hospital again. We hope for good news, but we also know that we don't want her to be in pain. We write this message to ask for support in any form. My dad is at the hospital daily, and Sarah is there as much as possible. Trying to find time to eat and take a break from this all is difficult. Please keep my family in your prayers. I will continue to update you as I know more. Also, I put a fun picture on this cause I love it and we all need something to make us smile. :)
